PLL LOT VIRTUAL STATUTE

 

 


§ 1.


Polish Airlines LOT Virtual

 

1.1.      The operations of PLL LOT Virtual are governed by this Statute, to which PLL LOT Virtual reserves all rights.

 

1.2.    PLL LOT Virtual is a virtual airline operating within the VATSIM (Virtual Air Traffic Simulation Network) network, outside which it does not provide any services.PLL LOT Virtual opiera swoją działalność na Polskich Linii Lotniczych LOT.

 

1.3.        PLL LOT Virtual has the right to use image materials of LOT Polish Airlines.

 

1.4.        PLL LOT Virtual is an official member of the STAR ALLIANCE Virtual

 

1.5.        PLL LOT Virtual is managed by the Management Board.

 

 


§ 2.


Requirements and recruitment process for candidates for pilots of PLL LOT Virtual

 

2.1.     The minimum age for candidates for PLL LOT Virtual pilots is 16 years.

 

2.2.     During the recruitment process for PLL LOT Virtual, the candidate must confirm the loyalty principle, which prohibits affiliation with other Polish virtual airlines except those that are part of LOT Polish Virtual. Belonging to foreign airlines is unlimited.

 

2.3.     Each candidate who has submitted a membership application via the PLL LOT Virtual website is required to have an interview with the Vice President of PLL LOT Virtual. After successful completion of the above interviews, a candidate is awarded the Recruit rank.

 

2.4.     An instructor will be assigned to each recruit, who will be responsible for the proper training of the future pilot and familiarizing him with the operational procedures in PLL LOT Virtual

 

2.5.     Recruits are required to undergo a full TR (Type Rating) course for the selected machine type (together with the Instructor).

 

2.6.     After completing the TR course, Recruit takes a theoretical and practical exam, the passing of which is connected with granting the PLL LOT Virtual Pilot title, obtaining the status of a member of PLL LOT Virtual and obtaining the CADET rank.

 

2.7.     Recruits may not perform any recorded flights other than training flights. In the case of scheduled flights for PLL LOT Virutal without the appropriate TR, such a flight will be rejected and canceled.

 


§ 3.


Terms and conditions of membership in PLL LOT Virtual

 

 

3.1       The members of PLL LOT Virtual include: Pilots, Honorary Pilots and Lecturers.

 

3.2       Each member of PLL LOT Virtual is obliged to knowledge of this Statute.

 

3.3       Pilots of PLL LOT Virtual are obliged to perform flights in accordance with the regulations described in § 4 of this Statute.

 

3.4       Each member of PLL LOT Virtual has the option of gaining access to the PLL LOT Virtual Pilot Group on Facebook.

 

3.5       Each member of PLL LOT Virtual should have the appropriate software and configuration of the simulator in accordance with the guidelines of PLL LOT Virtual and the principles described in §4 of these Statutes.

 

3.6       Each Pilot PLL LOT Virtual is obliged to perform a minimum of 2 scheduled flights a month.

 

3.7       PLL LOT Virtual members are obliged to immediately complete their current email addresses on the official PLL LOT Virtual website.

 

 

 

 § 4.

 

Rules for the performance of flights by PLL LOT Virtual pilots

 

 

 

4.1       Each flight performed for PLL LOT Virtual must be registered with the Smart Cars program, and the flight record sent using the aforementioned program for verification.

 

4.2       Before making a flight, each Pilot is required to book a given flight as well as to complete a full pre-flight briefing via the official PLL LOT Virtual website.

 

4.3       Rules and procedures used in the Virtual LOT are regulated by official documents issued by LPLL LOT Virtual for the type of virtual machine (Standard Operational Procedures), which is obliged to strictly comply with each of the Pilots.

 

4.4       Each of the pilots can only fly with a airplane that has valid TR.

 

4.5       Each flight must be marked with an appropriate flight number, consistent with the Flight Schedule located on the PLL LOT Virtual website.

 

4.6       Flight times are indicative. Pilots may fly a given flight at any time with the obligation to respect only its duration.

 

 


§ 5.


Training, exams and promotion opportunities

 

 

5.1       Each newly adopted Pilot acquires the rank of KADET.

 

5.2       In case of doubts as to the state of knowledge of a given Pilot, PLL LOT Virtual reserves the right to carry out control examinations by a person designated by the Management Board.

 

5.3       The promotion system at PLL LOT Virtual is based on seniority in airlines and is done "automatically":

 

a.         The person who is the new pilot on the line receives the rank CADET.

 

b.         To obtain the rank of SECOND OFFICER, the pilot must fly a minimum of 75 hours.

 

c.         To obtain the rank of FIRST OFFICER, the pilot must fly a total of 150 hours.

 

d.         To obtain the rank of CAPTAIN, the pilot must fly a total of 300 hours.

 

e.         To obtain the rank of CAPTAIN SENIOR, the pilot must fly a total of 1000 hours.

 

5.4       Transatlantic flights may only be carried out by persons who have at least the rank of Second Officer and the appropriate TR.

 

5.5       Training for a given type of machine can be obtained as part of PLL LOT Virtual training or obtained on the basis of a certificate issued by another virtual airline.

 

5.6       It is allowed to have TR on several types of machines.

 

5.7       PLL LOT Virtual conducts  for its pilots TR for airplanes, which are part of the PLL LOT Virtual fleet.

 

 

 

5.8       The training scheme consists of both training conducted by the Leading Instructors and own work consisting in learning materials allocated by PLL LOT Virtual as well as by the applicant himself.

 

5.9       The TR training for a given airplane type is completed with a practical exam, after which the pilot receives the TR entry.

 

5.10    In case of failure to pass the above mentioned exam, the pilot is entitled to a correction within 14 days from the date of the previous exam. In the event of another failure on the exam, the pilot may resume TR training within a period of not less than 30 days from the date of completion of previous exams.

 

 


§ 6.


Struktura działalności zarządu PLL LOT Virtual

 

 

 

6.1       The operations of PLL LOT Virtual are managed by the Management Board of PLL LOT Virtual.

 

6.2       The entire work of the Management Board is managed by the President of PLL LOT Virtual.

 

6.3       The President of PLL LOT Virtual has a formal deputy in the form of the HR Department Director at PLL LOT Virtual.

 

6.4       If the President of PLL LOT Virtual is unable to work, the management of the line is temporarily assumed by the HR Department Director at PLL LOT Virtual.

 

6.5       Members of the Management Board of PLL LOT Virtual are elected by the President of PLL LOT Virtual.

 

6.6       Dismissal of a member (s) of the Management Board may occur by a simple majority of votes on the Management Board.

 

6.7       All decisions made by the Management Board are made by voting (a simple majority applies).

 

6.8       All changes in the Management Board must be published on the official PLL LOT Virtual website.

 

6.9       Pilots have the option of dismissing members of the PLL LOT Virtual Board with the formal requirement to achieve a 4/5 majority of all PLL LOT Virtual pilots.

 

6.10    The President of the Management Board may be dismissed unanimously by members of the Management Board or all employees of PLL LOT Virtual.

 

6.11    It is not possible to abstain from voting on the Management Board by the Management Board or pilots.

 

6.12    Voting carried out in PLL LOT Virtual is open.

 

6.13    The Management Board of PLL LOT Virtual consists of:

 

a.         President at PLL LOT Virtual

 

b.         HR Department Director at PLL LOT Virtual

 

c.         Operations Director at PLL LOT Virtual

 

d.         Air Training Director PLL LOT Virtual

 

6.14    n the event of a vacancy in any of the positions listed in item 6.13, the President of PLL LOT Virtual shall take over the duties and responsibilities for this department.

 

 

 

§7.


Leaving PLL LOT Virtual

 

 

7.1       Each Pilot has the right to resign from operations for PLL LOT Virtual by submitting an appropriate statement to the information of the HR Department Director. The pilot will receive a letter of recommendation within 5 days of submitting the resignation.

 

7.2       Pilot's release from PLL LOT Virtual takes place with a 5-day notice period.

 

7.3       The decision to release the Pilot is made by the Management Board of PLL LOT Virtual by a simple majority.

 

7.4       Release from PLL LOT Virtual occurs as a result of notorious violation of the provisions contained in the Statute of PLL LOT Virtual.

 

7.5       For the lack of minimal activity (see § 3 point 3.6), the pilot is suspended in the rights to operate flights for PLL LOT Virtual until the situation is clarified.

 

7.6       People who show arrogant, aggressive or disrespectful attitude to other members of the airline will be dismissed from PLL LOT Virtual.

 

 


§ 8.


Other regulations

 

 

8.1       Changes in the content of the Statute are published on the official PLL LOT Virtual website.

 

8.2       In the event of changes to the Statute the Management Board of PLL LOT Virtual is obliged to provide airline members with an appropriate period to familiarize themselves with the changes and to implement them.

 

8.3       n the event of situations not included in the PLL LOT Virtual Statute, the Management Board of PLL LOT Virtual decides on the further fate of the case.
