1. Information about cookies
Cookie files (so-called "cookies") are IT data, in particular text files, which are stored on the Website User's end device (computer, tablet, etc.) and are intended for using the website's pages. Cookies usually contain the name of the website from which they originate, their storage time on the end device and a unique number. Cookies identify computer and browser data used to browse websites - they allow, for example, to find out whether a given computer has already visited a website. Data obtained from cookies are in no way combined with personal data of users obtained e.g. during registration on websites and are not harmful i.e. they do not affect the way end devices work, they do not cause any configuration changes in the programming installed on these devices.
The entity placing cookie files on the Website User's end device and accessing them is PLL LOT Virtual.
2. Purpose of using cookies

a) adapting the website content to the User's preferences and optimizing the use of websites; in particular, these files allow to recognize the Website User's device and properly display the website, tailored to his individual needs;
b) creating statistics that help to understand how Website Users use websites, which allows improving their structure and content;
c) maintaining the Website User's session (after logging in), thanks to which the User does not have to re-enter the login and password on each subpage of the Website.
3. Types of cookies used
The website uses two basic types of cookies: "session" cookies and "persistent" cookies. Session cookies are temporary files that are stored on the User's end device until logging out, leaving the website or turning off the software (web browser). Persistent cookies are stored on the User's end device for the time specified in the cookie parameters or until they are deleted by the User.

4. Information on how to remove the software from the User's end device and change the cookie settings in the User's browser

U. 2004, Nr 171, poz. 1800, z późn. zm.) amended ustawa z dnia 16 listopada 2012 r. o zmianie ustawy – Prawo telekomunikacyjne oraz niektórych innych ustaw (Dz.U. 2012, poz. 1445).
